Band Award and Scholarship

The Earl E. Shaffer, Jr. Band Award and Scholarship was announced at the 9th Annual Concert of the Titan Band in May, 2015, to honor Mr. Shaffer upon his retirement as a band director.

This award will be given each year starting in 2016 to selected Cosby High School senior band students who embody the character traits, attitude and behaviors that Mr. Shaffer has always encouraged in generations of band members.

The Cosby Band Boosters encourage you to honor Mr. Shaffer by making a donation (big or small) to the Scholarship fund in honor of his retirement.
